I’m excited for this new community focused on affordability, mobility, and sustainability. In particular, I support (check all that apply):

That 20% of all developable land within the proposed Uplands project will be dedicated to parks, shared view corridors, and public gathering spaces.That Uplands homes will use 30% less water than what the average Westminster household is using today.The fact that there will be 300 income-restricted and senior homes and 150 cottages designed for workforce housing.That Uplands will provide much needed parks and green space to this area of Westminster, ensuring thousands of people will be within a 5 or 10 minute walk.The fact that there will be a walkable and thriving Village Center with shops, services, and food and beverage options.That the Uplands Community Collective will be part of the neighborhood long-term, creating job training opportunities for local residents interested in construction trades, horticulture, and culinary arts.
